I grew up in the outskirts of Baltimore, Maryland, where music dancing and photography became my favorite past time. In the 20 years I've been a DJ, I learned to read a crowd to keep your party going and your dance floor full all night long.

When I was 21 years old,  I started taking line dance lessons back when country music was the thing. One day the DJ and line dance instructor did not show up, so not to disappoint over 100 people waiting to dance I borrowed a Boom Box from the nearby radioshack and gathered all my music tapes I had in my car and entertained the waiting crowd. It was such a success my parents help me buy my first DJ set up and from that day on back in 1992, I started Norm's DJ service. Fast forward to today I now call my business Mullinix DJ and Photo Booth to include my wife and three children and to Honor my Mother and Father who made all this possible. I put a high priority on family, I took a two year hiatus from the wedding DJ business to be a caregiver to my father, who passed in 2013.
